Rubaidh Ltd is a small company which creates exciting, innovative web applications for clients. Through the rest of the web site, you’ll get a flavour of the applications we’ve created, our services and what we’re currently up to, so what remains here is to give you an idea of the philosophy of the company.
We started in March 2006, when Graeme finally bit the bullet and decided that ‘going it alone’ was worth the risk. He’d previously been working in a small startup company, where he learned a lot about account management and the business side of, well, business. He had been using Ruby on Rails for a few small projects in his spare time and realised its potential. In addition, throughout 2006 there has been a huge excitement about Ruby and Rails, so we decided that the time was right to get started!
Rubaidh prides itself on quality, be it the quality of the code we write, hosting we provide, or just dealing with other people in a friendly, human manner. We’re not a big, nameless corporation and there’s no advantage to behaving like one. To achieve these goals, we utilise ideas and methodologies that support quality, like Agile Software Development and Test Driven Development . And, of course, Ruby on Rails.
